Join us at this Adelaide Hills pub over the Easter long weekend and indulge with friends, family and loved ones. Enjoy food specials, happy hours and entertainment throughout the weekend.

The Duck will be serving lunch, dinner and drinks throughout each day of the Easter long weekend, including Good Friday. Spend Good Friday at The Duck and enjoy happy hour from 5-6pm, live music with Express Duo from 7pm and our famous Friday night bar raffle kicking off at 5:30pm. Then on Saturday and Sunday happy hour will be available from 3pm-6pm, as well as all day dining options. Additionally, we will also be open on Easter Monday serving delicious meals from 12pm.

Furthermore, catch up with friends over the Easter weekend and indulge in some small plates or something delicious from our menu. Alternatively, relax out on the deck and soak up some sunshine whilst sipping on a $10 Easter Chocaholic Martini.

History of Good Friday

To commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his demise at Calvary, Good Friday is celebrated as a Christian religious holiday. The holiday happens during Holy Week and is considered as a part of Paschal Triduum on the Friday that comes before Easter Sunday. Good Friday is also known as Black Friday, Great Friday, or Holy Friday. Good Friday is a national holiday in many countries around the world, especially in the Anglican and Catholic nations.
